WELL-KNOWN SCAMS

Decline all trades scam: Somebody goes to Jamaa township and says something like "I never accept try me!" (All of the other methods are blocked. Try them) Some of the pathetic scammers accept the first good trade they see, which might be rare item Monday, yadeyadeya. A smarter scammer might get a RIM trade, and then decline. If they are rarer than that they might do a better trade (EG: First trade was say rare clover blanket or lei, second trade might be a valued RIM like rare headdress) when they go really good (Like Fox hat or beta) THEN they accept. Queenofdeclines was made for scamming.

Sending scam: A scammer might say "Send me a rare get a _____!" If you don't trust them, hang around look at the reactions of victims. If they aren't lying, go ahead. If they ARE, well get the username quick and report. But WAIT. They might be waiting for a GOOD trade.

Contest scam: I've seen this once in AJ. Someone says "Trade/Send me items I Send back/decline! Best trade/send gets _____!" They never end the contest, that is the easiest way to earn a lot of rares fast.

 Best friend scam: You might meet someone and they say "Wanna be buddies?" You accept a buddy request. They become your best friend. You do adventures together, they let you do what you want to do, you play games together. You don't know it, but they are a scammer. Eventually they get you to send your favorite rare. "You can trust me, right? I'm your best friend. Why would I scam you?" They scam you. They unbuddy you and log off

UNPOPULAR SCAMS

The scammers game: Some people say "Do you want to bet? Bet your best item and put your other rares on trade." The rule of the game is that they HAVE to accept a really bad trade or they lose and have to give the item. If they don't the scammer will say they scammed something of theirs

The glitch...: There's a glitch that generates an item in your inventory that turns your eyes a coral colour. People with that eye glitch go and say "My den to know how to get these eyes!" A lot of ppl will go. Now the scammer says "Now send/trade a good rare and I'll tell you." They send an item. The scammer leaves.

With care I have thought up some very good ways to foil scams!
TRY-ON SCAM: Tell them to try it on in best dressed.
SEND/TRADE SCAM: Trading system was invented for a reason.
DECLINE SCAM: If you decline all trades then why would we try you? You'd decline!
Okay that's pretty much all the scam foilings!
